Ingredients
  

Tea Base
  • 4 cups Water For brewing tea
  • 4 bags Black Tea Use your favorite brand
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar Adjust to taste
Serving
  • 1 cup Ice For serving
  • 1 slice Lemon Optional, for garnish

Method
 

Brew the Tea
  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
Cool and Serve
  1. Pour the sweetened tea into a pitcher and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour.
  3. Serve over ice and garnish with a lemon slice if desired.
