Method
Brew the Tea
- In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
Cool and Serve
- Pour the sweetened tea into a pitcher and let it cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with a lemon slice if desired.
