Preparation
- Preheat the pellet grill to 225°F (107°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- In a bowl, mix all dry rub ingredients together.
- Generously apply the dry rub to both sides of the ribs.
Cooking
- Place the ribs on the grill grates bone side down.
- Smoke the ribs for 3 hours, maintaining a temperature of 225°F.
- After 3 hours, wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and return to the grill for an additional 1.5 hours.
- Unwrap the ribs, brush with BBQ sauce, and cook for another 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
Serving
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
