  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced Remove the skin and core before dicing.
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped Optional, for garnish.
  • 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and minced Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 1 medium lime, juiced Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt To taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced pineapple, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  4. Let the salsa sit for at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
