- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the crushed pineapple evenly along the bottom.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pineapple.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
- Do not stir; simply spread the ingredients as evenly as possible.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
