McGriddle Muffins

Ingredients
  

Muffin Batter
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
Filling
  • 4 slices Bacon Cooked
  • 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 large Eggs Cooked to preference

Method
 

Prepare Muffin Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and maple syrup.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
Assemble Muffins
  1. Spoon a layer of muffin batter into each muffin cup, filling halfway.
  2. Add a slice of bacon, a slice of cheese, and a cooked egg on top of the batter.
  3. Top with more muffin batter until the cups are about 3/4 full.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the muffin tin.
