For the Matcha Mixture
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder Adjust to taste if you're a matcha lover.

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar Substitute with coconut sugar for a caramel-like flavor.
For the Mascarpone Filling
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese Cream cheese can be used for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Whipped until stiff peaks form.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Opt for pure vanilla extract for a natural taste.
For Assembly
  • 24 pieces ladyfinger cookies (savoiardi) Homemade or store-bought work well.
  • 1/2 cup milk (for dipping) Use whole milk or almond milk for a dairy-free alternative.
For Garnishing
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder (for dusting) Use a fine sieve for even distribution.

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together matcha powder and hot water until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until creamy.
  3. Gently fold the matcha mixture into the mascarpone until fully combined.
