Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce can use tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang adjust based on spice tolerance
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
For the Cauliflower
  • 1 head cauliflower florets cut into bite-sized pieces
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons scallions chopped finely
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for sprinkling on top

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the cauliflower by cutting it into bite-sized florets.
  3. Mix the batter in a bowl: combine flour, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  4. Coat each cauliflower floret with the batter.
  5. Arrange the coated florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Glazing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, and maple syrup until smooth.
  2. Glaze the baked cauliflower with your prepared mixture during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  3. Serve hot from the oven, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
