Ingredients
  

For the Halibut
  • 1 lb halibut fillets Fresh or frozen, fully thawed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Use sea salt for coarser texture
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Adjust to taste
For the Crust
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs Regular breadcrumbs can be used but won't be as crispy
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Rich, salty addition
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced; can use garlic powder if needed
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley Chopped; optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Lime juice can be a substitute

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix garlic, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, and olive oil in a bowl until well combined.
  4. Coat each fillet generously with the garlic Parmesan mixture.
  5. Place the coated fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the halibut is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
